So… what’s up?
Hiiiiii…. it’s been a while. Since July 2021 to be exact. I didn’t drop off the face of the Earth, but I did have to do an emergency move-out of my old apartment at the end of August 2021, which resulted in a month of couch-surfing until I found my (ultimately incredible) new apartment. In the stress of moving as quickly as possible, the thought of writing a newsletter just felt overwhelming, and thus, Loie Plautz Fun Haus fell to the wayside.
Since November 2021, I’ve been lucky enough to perform and create more than ever. Here’s some highlights:
Queer Window, my sketch team, performed in a headlining slot at NY Comedy Fest 2022! We’re continuing to perform this year, so look out for shows here and on my instagram.
I’ve performed stand-up and musical comedy more and more, while finding more community in the “scene.”
One of my standup sets was at “Must Love Dogs and Comedy,” where my puppy, Gonk, was able to finally see me perform.
Oh yeah, I got a dog! Gonk! He’s great. Love that lil dude.
What have I been working on?

Here’s some sketches I wrote for Queer Window’s NY Comedy Fest show: Gay NPCs and Non-Binary Parents

Queer Window Sketch Comedy has a show at Brooklyn Comedy Collective March 4th, 7pm. Tickets will be posted soon, or as I always say: JUST COME!
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading.
Feel free to suggest things you would like to see in future newsletters as I am rebranding this thing.
